Calicot de Service. (Anonymus). Original handcolored lithograph. Mister Calicot with a yardstick and bolts of cloth under his arm is dressed in the typical manner with a large moustache, a frilled shirt, a short tight waisted jacket. The draper is leaving his shop. In the background there are some textiles with the remark "PRIX FIXE". The dandy is also wearing spores on his shoe. The composition of this caricature is like "Le Départ de Calicot Pour le Combat" around 1817 Motivgröße 21,5 x 16,5 cm on 26 x 20,3 cm. Print colored by hand. Im Druck signiert with monogram "S n"?. The Title is printed until "Calicot de Se" and "rvice" is added by pencil from old hand. In the right corner there is a handwritten remark "Déposé". Verso with tiny mounting vestiges. Right edge with 1 cm tear (repaired) in the margin. Sheet slightly spotted, but very good condition.
